Abstract: The literatures about the evaluation on communicable disease surveillance system from WHO, the United States and China were retrieved. The paper summarizes their research status, evaluation strategies, indicators and methods on communicable disease surveillance system, especially on the evaluations on the network detect reporting, underreporting of communicable diseases and the accuracy of single disease diagnosis in China to provide evidence for the future evaluations on communicable disease surveillance system.
