Abstract: Surveillance is the main source of full life-cycle evidence-based analysis of Non-communicable diseases (NCD), as well as the starting point of NCD prevention and control and important support for decision-making process. Great efforts have been made to improve the timeliness, completeness and accuracy of the surveillance systems of NCD globally and domestically in recent years, and the surveillance data has been applied widely to the national implementation for NCD control and prevention. However, with the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, higher and stricter requirements have been put forward for the prevention and control of NCD in the post-epidemic era. Therefore, the accelerated development of the surveillance systems of NCD is also necessary triggered by multiple requirements.
