2017年10月(2017年10月1日0时至10月31日24时)，全国共报告法定传染病646 871例，死亡1 638例。其中，甲类传染病中鼠疫、霍乱均无发病、死亡报告。乙类传染病中传染性非典型肺炎、白喉、脊髓灰质炎、人感染高致病性禽流感和人感染H7N9禽流感无发病、死亡报告，其余21种传染病共报告发病273 020例，死亡1 634例。报告发病数居前5位的病种依次为病毒性肝炎、肺结核、梅毒、淋病以及细菌性和阿米巴性痢疾，占乙类传染病报告病例总数的93%。

同期，丙类传染病中丝虫病无发病、死亡报告，其余10种传染病共报告发病373 851例，死亡4例。报告发病数居前3位的病种依次为手足口病、其他感染性腹泻病和流行性感冒，占丙类传染病报告病例总数的95%。

In October 2017 (from 0:00, 1 October to 24:00, 31 October), a total of 646 871 cases of notifiable communicable diseases were reported in China, including 1 638 deaths. No cases and deaths of plague and cholera in class A were reported. No cases and deaths of severe acute respiratory syndrome, diphtheria, poliomyelitis and human infection with highly pathogenic avian influenza virus and avian influenza A (H7N9) virus in class B were reported. For the remaining 21 communicable diseases in class B, 273 020 cases were reported, including 1 634 deaths. The first 5 diseases in term of reported case number were viral hepatitis, pulmonary tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea and bacterial or amoebic dysentery, accounting for 93% of total reported cases in class B.

No case and death of filariasis in class C were reported, and for the remaining 10 communicable diseases in class C, 373 851 cases were reported, including 4 deaths. The first 3 diseases in term of reported case number were hand, foot and mouth disease, other infectious diarrheal diseases and influenza, accounting for 95% of total reported cases in class C.
