Abstract: An outbreak of 65 cases of rash fever was occurred in a village of Fengqiu county, Henan province in March to April 1996.The patients mainly were in pre school and school children. Attack rate was 46.4%,and the attack rate of age group between 0 and 14 years old was 14.6%, of which 37 cases were male.Most cases were noted for shorter course and worse clinical manifestation. It was confirmed as an outbreak of rubella by epidemiologic and serological investigation.
