Abstract: Objects To work as a part of united action for poliomyelitis eradication in National Immunization days. Method Conducted by “The Project of poliomyelitis eradication in National Immunization days, Beijing, 1999/2000”. Result 71 304 target children were registered of whom the certificaterate and card rate were 88.9% and 85.8% respectively. In the first round, the coverage rate, the survey rate, the in time rate and the ligible rate were as follows:99.3%, 97.1%, 95.3% and 100.0%; in the second round, they were 98.4%,97.0%,95.3% and 99.7%.Conclusion The certificaterate and card rate were all higher than the levels in last year,and each rate met the critria suggested by the Ministry of HealtylThere was between the survey coverage and report coverage. It indicated that the action was of good quality. The number of newly registered children were more than that of leavings,it showed that the preaent registering method has some faults. The certification rate and the card rate of the newly registered chil-dren were lower than the whole levels,it revealed that they had some population characters. The highly floating popu-lation was one of the reasons that it was difficult to implement the immunization in those children.
