2004年温州市碘缺乏病调查分析

Investigation and Analysis on Iodine Deficiency Disorders in 2004 in Wenzhou

  • 摘要: 目的在实现消除碘缺乏病的阶段性目标后,了解和掌握温州市碘缺乏病流行情况,进一步巩固防治成果,为完善持续消除碘缺乏病工作机制提供科学依据。方法在全市范围内抽取7个县(市、区),每个县抽取东西南北中5个乡(镇),每个乡(镇)中心小学抽取8~10岁3个班学生,每班抽取12份尿样,男女各半;各县至少抽取9个乡36个村288户居民食用盐。结果温州市8~10岁儿童甲状腺肿大率为4.95%,尿碘中位数为206.17滋g/L,≥100滋g/L的占86.76%,碘盐覆盖率为84.76%,合格碘盐食用率为80.34%。结论温州市碘缺乏病儿童甲状腺肿大率已符合消除标准,但碘盐指标偏低,仍应加大碘缺乏病危害宣传力度,提高合格碘盐的覆盖率。坚持长期食用合格碘盐是持续消除碘缺乏病危害的根本途径。

     

    Abstract: Objective This research was made to understand the prevalence of IDDs after the phased goals of annihilating iodine deficiency disorders(IDDs) were achieved,so as to deepen the fruit of prevention and cure,and provide a scientific basis for perfecting continuous elimination system of IDDs.Methods 12 samples of urine were independently collected from each of the three classes among students aged between 8 and 10 years in the central primary school from each of the five countrysides located in the east,west,south,north and center that were selected from 7 counties (cities,districts) around the whole city,with the proportion of male to female being 1 to 1.At least 288 samples of edible salt from 36 villages of 9 countrysides must be taken in each county.Results The rate of thyroid enlargement among children of 8—10 years was 4.95%.The median of uric iodine was 206.17 μg/L with those≥100 μg/L accounting for 86.76%.It was showed that the coverage rate of iodized salt was 84.76%,with the up-to-standard rate of edible iodized salt being 80.34%.Conclusion Although the rate of thyroid enlargement among children with iodine deficiency disorders in Wenzhou has already met the standard of elimination,but we should still enhance the propaganda strength on harms of iodine deficiency disorders and improve the coverage rate of qualified iodized salts.Insistence on long-term intake of qualified iodized salts is a radical pathway to continuously exterminate harms of IDDs.
