Abstract: Objective The present study was conducted to gain insight into the epidemic situa-tion of zoonotic Brucellosis in Taian City in recent years and provide scientific basis for further taking measures for prevention and control of such disease，effectively controlling the epidemic sit-uation and preventing the extension and pervasion of epidemic situation．Methods Patients were diagnosed as Brucellosis by skin allergy examination，Ros-Bengal plate agglutination examination and tube agglutination examination combined with clinical performance and contact history．Results 1571 cases were detected with skin tests in the two years and 49 cases were found positive．After tube agglutination examination combined with clinical performance，12 cases were given final diag-nosis and 11 cases were found to be recessive infection．20 caries and 51 sheep were detected，which were proved negative by Ros-Bengal plate agglutination examination．Conclusion Brucel-losis epidemics took place between people and animals in partial areas of Tai'an City from 2004 to 2005．It'S suggested that leadership and cooperation between departments should be reinforced，propaganda and education should be developed，and comprehensive measures for prevention and control (mainly composed of quarantine，immunization and elimination of sick animals) should be taken into practice．
