Abstract: Objective This study was conducted to objectively evaluate the actual status tor rate of planning vaccination．Methods A reliability analysis was performed for evaluated vaccination rate and reported vaccination rate，a logic analysis was done for accumulative total of subjects that should be inoculated with vaccines，and a spot check for vaccination rate was conducted to evaluate the report of vaccination rate．Results For inoculation in Yuxi City from 1996 to 2004 of the four vaccines，I.e. BCG vaccine (BCG)，oral poliomyelitis vaccine (OPV)，diphtheria pertussis tetanus associated vaccine (DPT)，and measles vaccine (MV)，the vaccination rate obtained by spot check was identical to that from monitoring report，and among the 84 evaluated values．There were 66 reliable，which were 78.6％ of the total，17 suspectable，20.2％，and lunreliable．1.2％．Conclusion The statistical report for planning vaccination in Yuxi has basically met relevant requirements。And the results ale reliable，but for the number of subjects that should be inoculated and the number of subjects that had been inoculated，failure to report or repeated report exist to some extent，and the sensibility of monitoring system for vaccination rate and the quality of report ale still to be improved．The grass root subjects that should be inoculated have not been grasped completely，and there is still problem for completeness and mathematical logicality of data．Special training should be carried out among grass root personnel regularly，and the management should be further standardized scientifically SO as to fully advance the quality of vaccination report．
