Abstract:
Objective The study was conducted to explore the contamination and drug resistance of Salmonella,Staphylococcus Aureus,Listeria monocytogenes(Lm),Vibrio parahaemolyticus and O157:H7 E.coli in food in the urban area of Jiangmen City. Methods National standard detection methods were adopted in the isolation, biochemical and serological identification for Salmonella,Staphylococcus aureus,Lm,Vibrio parahaemolyticus and O_(157):H_7,according to the national food-borne detection manual. Results There were 99 strains of pathogenic bacteria detected from 550 food samples of 9 categories, with the total detection rate being 18.00%.Among the detected bacteria, there were 40 strains of Lm,with the highest detection rate of 7.27%;followed by 31 strains of Salmonella, with the detection rate being 5.64%:and 28 strains of Staphylococcus aureus, the detection rate being 5.09%. Vibrio parahaemolyticus and O_(157):H_7 E.coli were not detected.Drug sensitivity test revealed multidrug resistance to some antibiotics of the isolated Salmonella,Staphylococcus aureus and Lm.Conclusion The main risk factors in food in the urban area in Jiangmen City included Salmonella,Staphylococcus aureus, and Lm,along with their multidrug resistance. It was necessary to strengthen the management of food hygiene,in particular, the management of non-stereotyped packaging cooked meat, raw meat and milk,in order to control food-borne diseases and ensure food safety.
