Abstract: Objective　To analyses the quality of notifiable infectious diseases report in Inner Mongolia. Methods　The survey was conducted in the part of medical agencies in the autonomous region based on the Plan of infectious disease report management and quality inspection in Inner Mongolia. Results　The infectious diseases report rate of medical agencies above county level was 100% and this rate of township medical agencies was 54.5% (10 agencies had never reported infectious diseases); According to the clinical record of the medical agencies, the underreport rate was 11.8%, which was lower than that of 2005(15.6%), the underreport rates of the medical agencies at city/prefecture level, the county medical agencies and the township medical agencies were 12.8%, 10.9%, 10.2% respectively. The timely report rate was 95.3%, which was lower than that of 2005(96.6%), the timely report rates of the medical agencies at city/prefecture-level, the county medical agencies and the township medical agencies were 95.4%, 96.6%, 91.0% respectively. The consistent rate of E-card and clinical record was 85.7%, which was higher than that of 2005 (82.8%), the consistent rates of the medical agencies at city/prefecture level, the county medical agencies and the township medical agencies were 84.3%, 83.1%, 88.8% respectively; the complete rate of report card was 97.7%, which was higher than that of 2005 (95.9%). The complete rates of report card of the medical agencies at city/prefecture level, the county medical agencies and the township medical agencies were 98.5%, 97.8%, 94.6% respectively. Conclusion　The report quality of 2007 was improved compared with 2005, but the infectious disease report rate, timely report rate and complete rate of report card at township medical agencies were still lower, which indicated that the management of infectious diseases report in township medical agencies should be improved
