Developments in genomic study of Yersinia pestis<

  • 摘要: 不同来源鼠疫菌株和假结核菌的测序完成,为我们通过比较基因组学手段对鼠疫菌进行研究提供了前所未有的机遇。本文通过对鼠疫菌基因组间及其与假结核菌基因组的分析比较,从全基因组的水平描述了鼠疫菌的基本特征,并论述了目前以比较基因组学为手段,从基因组水平来探讨鼠疫菌在编码序列、基因组重排、毒力基因、生境适应、种间种内进化等方面的研究现状。

     

    Abstract: IYersinia pestis/I is identified as the pathogen of fatal infectious disease plague, which is responsible for several devastating epidemics throughout history. IYersinia pestis/I diverged from IYersinia pseudotuberculosis/I 20000 years ago. The completion of genomic sequencing of both species offered unprecedented opportunity for researchers to carry out comparative genomic study on IYersinia pestis/I. This review is based on the comparative analysis between the genome of IYersinia pestis/I and IYersinia pseudotuberculosis/I, and provided a genomic perspective in describing the essential features of genome of IYersinia pestis/I. Based on comparative genomics, our work also presented a genomic view on the research status of various aspects of IYersinia pestis/I, including coding sequence, genomic recombination, toxic gene, habitat adaptability, as well as the intra-and inter-species evolution.
