Investigation of mosquito-borne flavivirus infection in part areas of Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region

  • 摘要: 目的 了解新疆部分地区不明原因发热患者蚊传黄病毒的感染状况。 方法 采用ELISA方法对新疆维吾尔自治区南部喀什地区伽师县和麦盖提县、北部伊犁地区察布查尔县不明原因发热人群血清标本进行流行性乙型脑炎(乙脑)病毒(Japanese encephalitis virus, JEV)、登革病毒(Dengue virus, DENV)、西尼罗病毒(West Nile virus, WNV) IgM抗体检测。对检测结果阳性的血清标本平行进行以上3种病毒的交叉中和试验。 结果 新疆南北部地区641例不明原因发热患者急性期血清中,乙脑病毒IgM抗体阳性率0.62%(4/641), 登革病毒IgM抗体阳性率2.96%(19/641),西尼罗病毒IgM抗体阳性率1.72%(11/641)。ELISA检测阳性患者血清中有6例存在乙脑病毒、登革病毒、西尼罗病毒中和抗体,滴度介于1 ∶ 10~1 ∶ 40之间。 结论 新疆发热患者急性期血清标本可以检测到乙脑病毒、登革病毒、西尼罗病毒IgM抗体,部分病例血清中存在中和抗体。

     

    Abstract: Objective To investigate the infection status and spatial distribution of mosquitoes-borne flavivirus among the cases of fever with unknown origin in Xinjiang, China. Methods A total of 641 serum samples were collected from the cases of fever with unknown origin in Kashi, southern Xinjiang and in Yili, northern Xinjiang. The IgM antibodies to Japanese encephalitis virus, dengue virus and West Nile virus were detected by ELISA and the parallel neutralization tests of the 3 viruses were conducted for positive samples. Results The positive rate for IgM antibody to Japanese encephalitis virus was 0.62% (4/641), the positive rate for IgM antibody to dengue virus was 2.96% (19/641) and the positive rate for IgM antibody to West Nile virus was 1.72% (11/641). Six serum samples showed neutralization antibody to mosquito-borne flavivirus, the neutralization titers ranged from 1 ∶ 10 to 1 ∶ 40. Conclusion The antibody to mosquitio-borne flavivirus could be detected in the cases of fever with unknowen orgin in Xinjiang by ELISA or neutralization test.
