Abstract: In order to improve the quality and efficiency of the disease symptom reporting and early warning and timely response of communicable disease outbreak in the border area of Yunnan province, a symptom surveillance and early warning system based on Java server pages (JSP) and android platform was established according to the local situation in the border area in Yunnan, through which the timely reporting of patients' symptoms and data analysis, real-time remote inquiry, print and chart analysis and monitoring of data quality can be achieved for the purpose of improving the early warning of communicable disease outbreak in the border area of China.
