Abstract:
Objective To understand the antibody levels against measles, mumps, varicella, hepatitis B and hepatitis A in healthy population in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, and provide scientific evidence for the development and improvement of immunization strategy. Methods Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was conducted to detect measles IgG, mumps IgG, varicella IgG, HBsAb and hepatitis A IgG. Results A total of 1170 serum samples were tested. The positive rates of measles IgG, mumps IgG, varicella IgG, HBsAb and hepatitis A IgG were 89.40%, 80.34%, 71.37%, 78.29% and 55.21%, respectively. Conclusion The antibody levels against measles and mumps were high, but the antibody levels against varicella, hepatitis B and hepatitis A were low in healthy population in Jinhua. Close attention should be paid to the possible outbreaks of chickenpox and hepatitis A, and the vaccination should be strengthened to expand the coverage in healthy population.
