Investigation on the awareness of the knowledge about Expanded Program on Immunization among the residents of Taiyuan railway bureau, Shanxi province

  • 摘要: 目的 了解居民免疫规划知识水平、影响因素及免疫规划信息获得渠道。方法 设计调查问卷,对到接种门诊接种疫苗者家长进行调查。结果 共调查目标人群552人 ,回收有效问卷516份。免疫规划基本知识知晓率较高,为63.18%~97.48%;专业性较强的知识知晓率较低,为20.16%~62.79%;不同文化程度、经济状况、职业居民知晓率差异有统计学意义(IP/I﹤0.005);72.29%的居民通过预防接种医生、59.50%的居民通过预防接种证获得免疫规划信息。结论 文化、经济、职业是制约免疫规划知识知晓率的重要因素,要充分利用各种机会,针对不同人群应用不同形式,加强免疫规划知识特别是专业性较强的知识的宣传。

     

    Abstract: Objective To evaluate the awareness of knowledge about the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), the influence factors and the access to immunization information. Methods Questionnaire surveys were conducted among the people who took their children to clinic for vaccination. Results A total of 552 subjects were surveyed, and 516 completed the questionnaires. The awareness rate of basic knowledge about EPI was high (63.18%-97.48%), the awareness rate of professional knowledge about EPI was low (20.16%-62.79%). Significant difference was observed on the awareness rates among the residents with different economic status, education background and occupation (IP/I0.005). Some residents (72.29%) obtained EPI information from EPI doctors, others (59.50%) from immunization certificates. Conclusion Education background, economic status and occupation were the influence factors on the awareness of the knowledge about EPI, it is necessary to promote the health education about EPI, especially on the professional knowledge about EPI, among different populations.
