Epidemiology of one case of human infection of Streptococcus suis in Qujiang district

  • 摘要: 2010年1月4日,浙江省衢州市某医疗单位报告1例人感染猪链球菌病例。脑脊液培养结果示:溶血性链球菌,检测分型为Ⅱ型猪链球菌。患者转入传染病分院隔离病房治疗,采用罗氏芬针抗菌治疗2 d后,病情明显好转,现已治愈出院。

     

    Abstract: Objective To understand the etiological and epidemiological characteristic of 1 case of human infection of Streptococcus suis and provide evidences for the control and prevention of the disease. Methods Field Epidemiological survey was conducted for the patient and close contacts, The clinical data of the patients were analyzed and laboratory detection of related specimens was performed. Results The patient was diagnosed as infection of Streptococcus suis type 2 following the epidemiological survey, clinical diagnosis and laboratory tests. Conclusion To control the epidemic in pigs, to deal with the sick/dead pigs correctly and to have good personal hygienic protection among the slaughterhouse workers are the effective measures to control and prevent the human infection of Streptococcus suis
