Surveillance of hand foot and mouth disease in Jinhua in Zhejiang province, 2009-2010

  • 摘要: 目的 分析浙江省金华市2009-2010年手足口病的流行病学特征,及时掌握手足口病疫情趋势。 方法 采用描述性流行病学方法对国家疾病监测信息报告系统中报告的2009-2010年金华市手足口病疫情资料进行分析。 结果 金华市2009-2010年累计报告手足口病18 450例,年均发病率为180.37/10万,2010年发病率(238.06/10万)比2009年(122.03/10万)上升95.08%。病原监测显示2009年流行株为Cox A16,2010年为EV71。2年发病数和发病率最高的地区均为婺城区。全年各月均有发病,每年4月即进入发病高峰期,2009年有2个发病高峰,分别在4-7月和10-12月,2010年仅4-7月1个高峰。5岁散居儿童和幼托儿童是手足口病的主要发病人群,且无论是发病数还是发病率均是男性显著高于女性。 结论 2009-2010年金华市手足口病发病存在明显的时间、地区、性别和年龄差异,2010年发病率比2009年大幅上升,流行株由Cox A16转变为EV71。

     

    Abstract: Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of hand foot and mouth disease (HFMD) in Jinhua and understand the epidemic trend of the disease. Methods The descriptive epidemiological analysis was conducted on the incidence data of HFMD in Jinhua obtained from the National Disease Reporting Information System during 2009-2010. Results A total of 18 450 HFMD cases were reported during this period, the average annual incidence was 180.37/lakh. The incidence in 2010 (238.06/lakh) increased by 95.08% compared with that in 2009 (122.03/lakh). The etiological surveillance indicated that the predominant strain was Cox A16 in 2009 and EV71 in 2010. The highest case number and incidence were reported in Wucheng district. The disease occurred all the year round and peaked during April-July in a year, but 2 incidence peaks were observed in 2009, one was during April-July, another one was during October-December. The disease mainly affected the children aged 3 years both in and outside child care settings. The case number and incidence were higher in males than in females. Conclusion The time, geographic, gender and age distributions of HFMD cases varied in Jinhua during 2009-2010. The incidence increased substantially in 2010 compared with 2009, and the predominant strain was EV 71 in 2010 instead of Cox A16 in 2009.
