Abstract: Objective The present investigation was made to get an insight into the epidemic dynamics of human Brucellosis in Bao'an District of Shenzhen Municipality to provide scientific basis for the prediction of the epidemic trend of Brucellosis and establishment of strategies for its prevention and control．Methods SurveiIlance was made following the raquirements in"National Plan for the Surveillance of Human Brucellosis" by the Ministry of Health "Diagnostic Standard and Management Principle of Brucellosis (GB25988—1995) "as used as referanee for serologic results and case evaluation．Resalts 2092 subjects in Bao'an district were epidemiologically investigated in Sept．2005,inchuding 476 subjects (22.75％)who were dateeted semlogically The Rose Bengal Plate Test (RBPT) was positive in 5 of the examined with a positive rate of 1.05％ (5/476)and a prevalence rate of 0.42％(2/476)，and tube agglutination test at 1:50-1:400 showed 50％～100％ of agglutination．All the infected cases found were workers working in Gongming Yulu Milk Cow Farm Conclusion There still exists a threat of human brucellosis with a trend of spreading in Ban'an district Comprehensive preventive and therapeutic rueasures should be taken to control Human Brucellosis in the area
