Identification of etiology of Kluyvera strains from stool specimens from diarrhea patients

  • 摘要: 目的 鉴定分离自腹泻患者粪便标本的4株革兰阴性杆菌,并对其耐药性和致病性进行研究.方法 用生化和16S rRNA序列分析方法对该菌进行属的鉴定,并用抗坏血酸盐试验和葡萄糖5℃发酵试验进行种间区分,利用bioMerieux公司的ATB G(-)5试条进行该菌的药物敏感性试验,用常规的动物试验进行该菌的致病性研究.结果 分离的4株菌均为抗坏血酸克吕沃菌,除1株菌外,其余 3株菌对所检测的抗生素都有一定的耐药性,而进行的各种动物试验结果均为阴性.结论 该菌对目前常用的抗生素有一定的耐药性,但不表达致泻性大肠埃希菌的一些常见毒素因子.

     

    Abstract: Objective The study was conducted to identify four gram-negative bacilli isolated from stool specimens from diarrhea patients, and determine their resistance and pathogenicity. Methods Biochemical tests and 16S rRNA sequence analysis were used to facilitate the identification of genus; ascorbate test and glucose 5 ℃ fermentation test were used to distinguish the species. The drug susceptibility was determined with the use of bioMerieux ATB G(-) 5 strips, and the pathogenicity was evaluated by conventional animal-model experiments. Results The four isolated strains were Kluyvea ascorbata, with resistance to the studied antibiotics to a certain extent though one of the strains showed no resistance. Results from various animal-model experiments were negative. Conclusion Certain resistance to common antibiotics was observed in the studied bacteria. However, endotoxic factors commonly found in diarrhea-causing Escherichia coli were not expressed by theses strains.
