Abstract:
Objective To understand whether the diagnosis of viral hepatitis met the national diagnostic criteria of communicable diseases in Liuzhou, Guangxi. Methods The viral hepatitis cases were selected randomly in hospitals at county level and at or above grade Ⅱ to evaluate the accuracy of the diagnosis according to the national criteria. Results The accurate rates of diagnoses of hepatitis A, B, C, D, E and unspecified were 50%(5/10), 44.59%(33/74), 16.36%(9/55), 0.00%(0/2), 90.91%(10/11) and 17.65%(3/17) respectively. The accurate rate of viral hepatitis diagnosis in county hospitals was significantly lower than that in hospitals at or above grade Ⅱ. Conclusion It is necessary to strengthen the training about disease diagnostic criteria, add needed equipments and diagnose and report diseases according to the national criteria in local hospitals.
