Abstract:
Herpangina outbreaks occurred in 2 child care settings in Fengtai district of Beijing in April 2016, involving 55 cases The average attack rate was 16.08%,two incidence peaks were observed and the cases were children aged 5-6 years old. Throat swab detection results were Coxsachievirus A10(Cox A10) positive. Re-detections of 26 throat swabs 10 days after the onset indicated that 7.69% of the cases remained to be Cox A10 positive. Non-clear diagnosis and non-strict control were responsible for the spread of the disease in child care settings.
