Analysis of Residents ' Health Situation of Disease Surveillance Points in Yunnan Province in 1 9 9 3

In accordance with the data of Disease Surveillance Points(DSPs)in Yunnan Province in 1993,the residents' health situation was analyzed. The result has shown that the level of residents' health is higher than the average of national DSPs system in 1 9 9 2. The level in urban areas is betterthan in rural areas; chronic disease is the main cause of death in monitored population,prevention of accident death and serial chronic disease should not be ignored,and infectious diseases still remains the dangerous factor.This article specially points out that some key infectious diseases mostly harmful.The different order of death causes concerned with district,sex and age group distribution was discussed.This article might be useful to the provincial policy decision of disease control and headlth promotion.
