A Retrospective Investigation and Analysis of Rural Patients Following Implementation of TB Control Project in Qinhuangdao

Objective The present investigation was carried out to learn about the situation of TB patients in rural regions to provide information for the development of the various affairs in TB cotrol programme of China subsidized by the loan of the World Bank and grants of Uk Methods Random sampling was adopted on the basis of questionnaire investigation in situ Results A total of 956 patients were investi gated，whose information of consultation in medical facilities primarily came from Gopvernment Bulletin，accounting for 42.05％ 93.31％ of patients were able to pay the fees needed during treatment The rate of full and regular medication was 93.31％，but there were only 30.92％ of patients taking medicine when a doctor was present，which remained to be improved 96.97％ of patients were satisfied with this project and 96.84％ of patients expressed their wish for going on with the TB control project.Conclnsion The implementation of a TB control project is of great importance for effective prevention and treatment of TB.
