Tracking visit among people living with HIV/AIDS for 5 years and analysis for monitoring result among HIV spouses in Fuzhou City

  • Objective The present study was to understand the HIV/AIDS infected people'S lives,marriages.Sex behaviors,and disease transformation and to discuss the scientific administration method by the follow—up sampling and the detection of their spouses'HIV antibody Methods By combining random sampling of visiting with telephone interview.184 HIV/AIDS infected people were followed up for 5 years in Fuzhou,57 of whose spouses (or sex partners) were followed up fof me detection of HIV antibody.All the collected information was discussed and analyzed.Result Most HIV-infected people and AIDS patients were able to live in their native place.However,their family pressure was gradually increased.Of the 57 spouses, 2 subjects were found to be positive in the antibody,with a positive rate of 3.51%.Which meant that the infected people had unprotected sexual behaviors.More than 70% infected people were not able to afford the therapy.Condusion The HIVA/AIDS infected people were in great need of help in terms of medicine,psychology and life from the society.In order to improve the AIDS prevention,their quality of life should be paid attention,in case that they would have negative feelings such as taking revenge on the society and suicide.
