Virulence genes detection and sequence analysis for Yersinia pseudotuberculosis

  • ObjectiveTo conduct virulence genes detection and sequence analysis for 29 strains of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis from different areas. MethodsPCR was used to detect the virulence factors of inv, pYV, HPI and ypm, and the sequencing was conducted for ypm. ResultsIt was found that all the 29 Y. pseudotuberculosis strains carried inv gene, 15 strains carried pYV, 13 strains carried all or part of HPIs, 19 carried ypmA, but ypmB was found in 1 strain and ypmC in another 1 strain. ConclusionThe distribution of the virulence genes in Y. Pseudotuberculosis showed geographical heterogeneity.
