Survey of a household clustering of pertussis involving adults in Shuizhou, Hubei

Objective Pertussis reemerged in many countries in recent years, and the population mainly affected changed. In 2016, a household clustering of pertussis was found through active surveillance in Shuizhou, Hubei province. Four cases occurred in a family with 5 members. It is the first time to found pertussis cases in adults in Shuizhou. This paper summarizes the results of related epidemiological survey.
