Summary of infectious disease surveillance and early warning technologies and systems

Emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases continue to occur in the world, posing serious threat to public health, especially in China due to the large population base and dense urban population. This paper summarizes the research status of infectious disease surveillance and early warning technology and introduces the surveillance and early warning systems of infectious disease in major countries in the world to provide reference for the improvement of China’s infectious disease surveillance for the better surveillance and early warning performance.
