广东省1例流行性脑脊髓膜炎死亡病例流行病学调查

Epidemiological investigation of a death case of meningococcal meningitis in Guangdong

摘要: 2017年11月广东省汕头市报告1例疑似流行性脑脊髓膜炎死亡病例。患者表现为发热、呕吐，经抢救无效死亡。从病例脑脊液标本中检出b 型流感嗜血杆菌（Hib），未检出脑膜炎奈瑟菌。确认该病例因感染Hib而死亡。

Abstract: In November 2017, one suspected death case of Neisseria meningitidis infection was reported in Shantou, Guangdong province. The clinical symptoms of the case included high fever and emesis. Hemophilus influenzae type b was detected from the cerebrospinal fluid sample of the case. Neisseria meninggitidis was not detected. The case was identified to die from the infection of Hemophilus influenzae type b.
