Abstract: There is growing concern about cancer screening for its social and economic benefits. This paper summarizes the significance and existing problems of cancer screening in terms the current status & efficiency, screening methods, controversy and development trend, and to provide reference for selection and promotion of appropriate cancer screening strategy.
