Abstract:
In recent years, it has been confirmed that bats are alao important host animals of hantavirus, in addition to rodents and insectivorous animals, in many parts of the world. As a newly discovered hantavirus, the pathogenic characteristics, genetic structure, and distribution characteristics of bat hantavirus are not very clear, which is not conducive to the effective prevention and control of the disease caused by bat hantavirus. This article summarizes the discovery, genetic polymorphism, and geographical distribution of bat hantavirus for the purpose of improving the understanding of newly discovered bat hantavirus and facilitating precise epidemic prevention and control.
