应用脉冲场凝胶电泳分型技术对江西省伤寒菌株的分析

Molecular typing analysis of Salmonella typhi by pulsed field gel electrophoresis in Jiangxi Province

  • 摘要: 目的 分析江西省1986年以来伤寒爆发疫情菌株的分子分型特征.方法 对所收集的伤寒沙门菌株利用脉冲场凝胶电泳(PFGE)技术进行菌株的分子分型.结果 40株伤寒菌株分离自1986、1987、2000和2003年的伤寒患者和带菌者,利用PFGE可分为16个型.不同年份、不同地点爆发的伤寒菌株带型不同,同一年份同一地点爆发的伤寒菌株带型也有差异.结论 基于PFGE的分子分型能很好地应用于菌株特征的分析,伤寒杆菌在不同年份变异较大.常规的疫苗是否能应对不同PFGE型菌株的流行值得关注.

     

    Abstract: Objective This study was to analyze the typing characteristics of Salmonella typhi strains isolated from outbreaks in Jiangxi province in past years. Methods Pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) was used in the molecular typing of Salmonella typhi strains collected from the typhoid outbreaks in 1986, 1987, 2000 and 2003. Results The 40 isolates collected from the patients and bacteria-carriers in the outbreaks in the 4 years were divided into 16 types by PFGE. There were differences in band type of Salmonella typhi in different years and different places and even those strains collected from the same outbreak at the same place in the same year were presented with different band types. Conclusion A great variation of Salmonella typhi was revealed among different years based on the good application of PFGE in the strain molecular typing analysis. This might raise the question whether the routine used vaccine can provide full protection against the epidemics caused by various strains with different PFGE types.
