Abstract:
Vibrio parahaemolyticus is an important foodborne pathogen.
V. parahaemolyticus infections have become a severe global public health problem. As the abuse of antibiotics in aquaculture, animal husbandry and clinic, the pathogen's drug resistance has become a serious problem. Drug-resistant bacteria can infect human beings through food chain, which pose a great challenge to clinical treatment and threat to human health. This review focus on the characteristics, mechanisms and detections of antibiotic resistance of
V. parahaemolyticus, which can provide references for other in-depth research about the produce and spread of antibiotic resistance.
