<I>Campylobacter jejuni</I> infection and Guillain-Barré syndrome

IJejuni/I are one of the major pathogens that cause zoonotic bacterial enteric diseases in the world. For mankind, the primary pathogenic Ijejuni/I constitutes ICampylobacter jejuni/I and IColon jejuni/I. Enteritis caused by specific serotypes of ICampylobacter jejuni/I is an important precursor of Guillain-Barr syndrome (GBS). Inpresent study, the state-of-the-art progress of the epidemiology and pathogenesis of GBS caused by ICampylobacter jejuni/I are reviewed.
