Epidemiology Analysis on Venereal Disease in China an 1977～1993

The epidemic data of venereal diseases populated again in China was analyzed in this article. From the first case reported in 1977 to the end of 1993 , 1, 081 , 539 cases were reported,and the average morbidity was5.61/100,000 and the ratio between male and female was 1.71 : 1.And the morbidity of venereal disease increased yearly , with the annual rising rate of 83.15% of all the venereal diseases. Gonorrhoea is leading at 72.51% , next to it are condyloma acuminatum and NGU, at 19.72% and 5. 85% respectively and for the rest of the diseases at very low rates.The patients are mostly sex active people with the age group of 23-39at the rate of 84.19%.The age group of 20-29 occupies the highest rate of 15.73/100,000.The morbidity of the coastal areas has been higher,however,that of the inland area is growing faster than the former.
