An Analysis of the Morbidity and Mortality of Infectious Diseases inDiseaes Surveillance Points(DSP)System in Gansu Province,1983-1993

In order to study the trend on infectious disease in Gansu province , we analyzed the in- formation of surveillance from 1983 to 1993 in DSP of Gansu province. It shows that the annual inci- dence rate was 485. 93/100,000 for A and B kinds of noticeable infectious disease,285.87/100,000 for C kind of monitoring infectious diseases. Infectious disease of intestinal tract is the main trouble in the province. It mainly threatens children. Tuberculosis and others endanger to some extent health of adult. The incidence of whooping cough pick up too.So the prevention and control of infectious disease should not be ignored.
