An Investigation on TB Infection Status of New Soldiers in Northern China Troops

  • An investigation on TB infection status WaS carried out in 1454 new soldiers of troops stationed in the northern China.Re8ults showed that the positive OT rate 28.95% which was lower than before.The l~itive OT rate of new soldiers came from urban areas was higher than that of those who came from rural areas.In the negative groups,some then were inoculated BCG,and the positive conversion was 100%,showing the effect of the vaccination of BCG was re-liabile.These results revealed that the number of new soldiers who were easy infected with TB was growing There was a rising tendency of TB infection in troops.It is henry that the pre-vention of TB for new sodiers,including preventive vaccination,should be strenthened.
