Discussion on Management of Notifiable Infectious Diseases Report in Hospitals of Jiangxi Province

Accoording to the Surveillance program on management of notifiable infectious diseases report in hospitals of Jiangxi Province．An annual surveillance on management of notifi-able infectious diseases report WaS carried out in I 14 hospitals of whole province during April 1994 to March 1995．The results indicated that a total number of 24316 caes of class A and B no-tifiable infectious diseases were reported from all surveillance hospitals in whole province．The mean on time report rate was 82.81％．The highest was the provincial hospitals.Then the hospi- tal belong to prefectures and cities were 86.9％．The hospitals in counties and districts were 78.42％，intownshipswere 43.75％．The report ratein clinicswaslower，only 38.01％of the total reported cases．But the lowest Was in township haspitals only 4.86％of the total reported cases.According to the degree of reporting,99 hospitals could be divided into 6 claseesof which class A(best)4.04％，both class B and C were 38.38％，class D 10.11％，class E 4.04％and class F5.05％，It showed that the management report on of notifiable infectious diseases was not as so good in 19.2％hospitals 9.09％hosptals did not report notifiable infectious disease as a routing work．The health departments and the leaders of hospitalas at each levels must pay attention to this work．
