Assessment of Life Table of Dongcheng District Municipality .Beijing

Some indices of life tables in Dongcheng District during 1988 - 1994 were anal-ized .Most indices were improved moderately in the past six years. Life expectandy in 1988 were 71. 80 in male, 75. 13 in fewale espectively.Whereas in 1994 they were 74.95 in male and 75. 53in female. All of the indices of life table in Dongcheng were better than that of national life table in same period . The life expectancy of residents in. Dong cheng was almost same as that of residents in developed countries .
