Investigation on the Application and Coverage of Hepatitis B Vaccine in Guangdong Province

The results indicated that the coverages of 3 doses Hepatitis Type B Vaccine were 85.15% in infants (confidence Interval (CI) 81.96%～88 34%) and 38.31% in School children (CI 35.1%～41.32%). The Coverage in urban area was higher than in rural area and the coverage in infants was higher than in school children. It was suggested that the immunization of Hepatitis Type B vaccine should be promoted in infants of rural area and in school children as well.
