A Study on the Application of Allergen of Brucella Protein

Intradermal allergic reaction was carried out in brucellosis patients,latent infections of brucella,immunized persons by brucella vaccine,tuberculosis, other patients and healthy people by using purified brucella protein allergen (BrPA).The data indicated that it was safe,no side reaction and the nonspecific reaction was lower than the present brucellin which was widely used in China currently.A positive reaction criterion was suggested as well.The results showed that this highly purified protein allergen was easy to standalize and also revealed that it was a new preparation and can instead of the current brucellin for diagnosis of brucellosis.
