A Study on the Distribution of HAV,HBV,HCV and HEV Infection in Families

An seroepidemiological study on the HAV,HBV,HCV and HEV infections were carried out in 596 families.The data showed that the distribution of the 4 types of viral hepatitis was different in families with various number of persons.There was a difference of the family clustering among the infectious rates of 4 hepatitis infectious.By using Gtest,there was statistical difference between the family clustering rates of HAV and HBV.There was a positive correlation between the infectious rates of the above two infections and the number of persons in a family.The results did not support that the infection rates of HCV and HEV were related with the number of persons in a family.The authors suggested that these results are useful for hepatitis control.
