Isolation of Citrobacter Freundii Aggluted Strongly withMAb of E.coli O157 and Serum of H7

Two strains of Gram negative bacterium aggluted with Mab of E.coli O157 and serum of H7 were isolated from feces of cows and water of pools in epidemic diarrhea area. Shiga-like toxin and were not detected with in situ hybridization of radio isotope labeled probe and PCR. They were confirmed to be C. freundii with the Biolog MicrostationTMSystem(Biolog inc., USA). The anthors suggested it was necessary to do some biochemical and molecular biological tests when we made the isolation and identification of E.coli O157:H7.
