Study on Entero-SLTS-Producing and Invasive E.coli ESIEC in the Area of Sanxia

A new entero-SLT3 producing and diarrhea causing strain of E.coli ESIECwas studied. 908 samples from different sources were detected. 104 samples were identfied as ESIEC, the detected rate was 11.45%. It was confirmed that ESIEC strains existed widely in human, outside environment and animals. The highest rate was 32.43% in the diarrhea patients 8 strains were positive with irp-2 probe dehydration in ESIEC 68 strains, the positive rate was 11.7%. 5 strains were positive with irp-2 PCR identification, the positive rate was 7.4%.The results showed that ESIEC was a new diarrhea-causing microbe diarrhea,it exited widely in the areas of Sanxia,and it was important to the epidemiological study of ESIEC.
