ObjectiveToexploretheprevalenceoftransfusiontransmittedvirus(TTV)infectionanditsepidemio logicalfeaturesamongnormalpopulationinXuzhouregion .MethodsBasedontheclusterrandomandmulti -stage sampling ,enzymelinkedimmunosorbentassay (ELISA)wasusedtodeterminetheserumanti-TTVamongnormal population .ResultsThetotalpositiverateofTTVIgGwas 5.36%among 1 2 68normalsubjectsinXuzhouregion . 3.81 %formaleand 6 67%forfemalerespectively,ruralfemaleishigherthanmale Therewasnosignificantdiffer encebetweenagegroups、professions、urban and population,but the positive rate in people who has the histories of operations and transfusions. The results confirmed that TTV might be transmitted by blood transfusion and suggeted that TTV might exist in "health carrier"status.
