An Investigation on HBV positive rate of children and primary school pupils

Seventh Agricultural corps has vaccinated children with HBV vaccine for the children and primary school pupils, from March to July in 1998. 18876 subjects from ten farm kindergardens and primary schools in Seventh Agricultural Corps were surveyed. The results showed the average of HBS antibody positive rate of children and pupils is 40.09%, HBs antigen positive rate has reduced to 3.2% which was lower than average level of papulation in the whole nation. The results indicated that vaccination of 7th Agricultural Corps has achieved a good result.
