Abstract

In order to search for the Neonatal Tetanus (NNT) influential factors and its epidemic situation, the result of the NNT surveillance in 1999 and 2000 was analyzed by the descriptive epidemiological method. It showed that the risk factors of NNT are dangerous delivery and mother being unimmunized TT before delivery in childbearing age. In the surveillance system for NNT, there is a lot of underreporting cases.
