A Survey on Infections of Chlamydia Trachomatis among 8 305 Female Patients

Objective To learn the infectious status of Chlamydia trachomatis in parturient pregnant mothers and the women who were suffering from uterine tumor, vaginitis, pelvic infection and cervitis in this locality. Methods Collecting cervical secretion and using Polymerase chain reaction technology to examine 3 860 cases of parturient pregnant mothers, 895 cases of uterine tumor, 2 611 cases of vaginitis, 634 cases of pelvic infection and 305 cases of cervitis. Results Among the 8 305 patients, positive rate of chlamydia trachomatis was as follows:3.60%(130/3 860 cases of parturient pregnant mothers),4.92%(44/895 cases of uterine tumor),11.37%(297/2 611 cases of vaginitis),13.25%(84/634 cases of pelvic infection) and 14.43%(44/305 cases of cervitis).Conclusion There were infections in parturient pregnant mothers and the women who were suffering from uterine tumor,vaginitis,pelvic infection and cervitis.
