Abstract

In Order to learn the epidemic status of influenza virus of Children in Kunming Urban district. Children' s throat swab secretion was conducted to isolate and culture the influenza virus. Influenza viurs was isolated from 509 specimen and the positive rate was 5.5% , in which 25 strains Type A(H1N1) and 3 strains type B. Type A ( H1N1) was the main prevalent inflenza virus in Kunming city 2001.
