Survey and Analysis of Genitourinary Infection with Neisseria Gonorrhoeae, Chlamydia Trachomatis and Ureaplasma Urealyticum in Outpatients

  • Objective To learn the situation of genitourinary infection with neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG), chlamydia trachomatis (CT) and ureaplasma urealyticum ( UU) in the sexual transmitted disease (STD) outpatients of Jiangmen CDC. Methods Collect samples from genitourinary tract of patients with stimulation or abnormal secretion. UU was detected by means of culture; CT was detected by rapid im-munochromatography; NG was detected by smear, stain, microscopy, and confirmed by culture and isolation. Results All of 205 patients varied from 20-40 years old,most of whom had non-marriage sexual history. The positive rate of non-gonococcal urechritis(NGU) and gonococcal urethritis (GU) were 70.24% and 7.31%, respectively;the infection rate of UU and CT were 57.4% and 34.56%,separately;the co-infection rate was 26.34%.Conclusion Patients infected with NGU and GU were mainly composed of sex matured people and related with active sex,so we should strengthen the education of sex knowledge to crowd.
