Relationship between Helicobacter Pylori Infection and Atypical Hyperplasia of Gastric Mucosa

  • Objective This study was designed to research the relationship between helicobacter pylori(HP) infection and atypical hyperplasia of gastric mucosa. Methods Hp infection (The rapid urease test and Giemsa stain) and atypical hyperplasia in epidermis of gastric mucosa were detect-ed.Results It was found that Hp positive and atypical hyperplasia were 322 cases (68.1%)and 49 cases (10.3%) in 473 epidermis tissues of gastric mucosa, respectively.Atypical hyperplasia 37cases (11.5%) in HP infectious group, while 12 cases (7.9%)in Hp non-infectious one, there was a significant difference in the two groups (P<0.05).Besides,the atypical hyperplasia level in-creased along with Hp infectious level raising. Conclusion The atypical hyperplasia of gastric mucosa was associated with Hp infection and it had an increased trend along with Hp infectious level raising.
